Thanks for the video. Really showcases what you've accomplished so much better!

That tang is on the brink of upsetting the scale/illusion you have going there I think but that's just my opinion and I love what you've done!

Awesome, awesome music choice, Thor! My wife is in the next room singing "Pure Imagination" now.

BTW, I'm having a tough time with my scaping plans. I'm about to start, but I can't get your bonsai scape out of my head. Everyone I visualize looks similar to yours.

The video captures the true beauty of your tank. The pictures in the thread are good but do not do full justice to your tank. Hope my tanks matures to look half as good as yours.

Absolutely amazing! Your tank is defnitely one of the best. It's grown in very nice and looks so much better with the sand bed. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot for all your words, you all have been so kind from the start and it really helps keep my tank going Im so glad the video helped you all see the depth and true form of the structure. I was trying to look for a good jazzy tune to go with the clip then i stumbled on the Willy Wonka tune and said "hummm this just might work!" Again thank you all for the wonderful feedback

Thumbs up

I truely can't help but smile when I hear that song. Your tank does capture the imagination and beauty of nature. I look at my " pile of rocks" and say hummm....

No stars or hermits just snails infact only turbos 9 total. Nice thing about them is they are more active at night and hide when the lights are on.

I love the look of your reef!! I just bought a rimless cube of the same dimensions and your reef inspires me. One more thing. I'm not sure what MH fixture to use to light the tank. What is it that you have lighting yours?

I've always admired your tank. Kudos on a job nicely done! Though the aquascaping is stunning, I especially love how you picked fish that interact with your specific aquascaping style - fish that hang out around and under the protrusions of the reef. You didn't just throw fish in there based on color and popularity, something too many people do. The scale of the fish to the aquascaping makes it much more realistic.

eskymick, I am using the Lumenarc III Large pendant. I retro fitted it with 2 SE mogul sockets 1 250w XM and 1 400w Radium however 1 bulb is plenty enough.

skatezen, I appreciate that! Not too many people take notice to that type of detail. I try to choose my fish to match the theme of my tank, i know the Tang however is pushing the limits but i cant help it i love that fish at 5 inches it will be the only big fish in there.

How often are you replacing the sand bed? There is no algae underneath the top layer even. Good job!
