New Aquatronica Products

New Controller Design

Other New Aquatronica products
Aquatronica presents its new products
Aquatronica takes pleasure in presenting its new products to the public. They enrich its electronic control systems with new and interesting functions:

* The Lights Dimmer 0-10V module (ACQ250) will allow to adjust the on period and lighting intensity of the lamps with neon installed in your aquarium; the lamps can be programmed via PC or via Controller.

* With the Pumps Dimmer module (ACQ455), it will be possible to install and control Hydor Koralia reciprocating pumps inside your Aquarium Controller system, so Wave and Tide effects are reproduced. Its quick and simple programming can be done from a PC or directly from the Controller.

* The new “Easy Plug” range of power units (ACQ005), to be combined with the Multitester (ACQ150) to manage 2 sockets depending on the data detected on the two sensors connected to the Multitester, is now wider: now it also includes the UK (ACQ005-UK) and Australia (ACQ005-AUS) versions.

* As of today, the spare part for dosing pumps (ACQ426) will allow the dosing pump kit (ACQ450) to always be in perfect operation at top performance

To be honest I had a good idea about the T5 Dimmer and the Pump Controller but no idea about the New Controller design.

Ok i hear there are new probes and interfaces on the way.

I wonder why they were not released?

Cannot wait for Adam, out distributor in South Africa, to return from Interzoo. Will be in his office first thing on Tuesday when he returns.

I told you this weekend would be exciting.

I see how it is, Robby. My thread wasn't good enough.

Man, they're coming out with new probes and interfaces, too?! Good grief I love this company!

Did I hear correctly that a new ethernet module is coming out?

You guys need to cough up what you know!

Brandon

Also, if anyone knows any dates when these will officially be available and any prices, that would rock as well! I need to start saving my pennies.

You forgot the Pics dude so you left me an opening but I admit you got the scoop of 2008

I can't comment on the probes, but lets just say they are taking care of us in a few different areas. I can confirm that I have heard nothing about a new Ethernet Module and I doubt that would be true since the current one is not very old.

Cudaruner
Release dates are going to be impossible to get until Aquatronica has them boxed and ready for shipping. They are very cautious about this after all the Flack they got over the delayed SMS and Ethernet modules. (Just look whats happening to Digital Aquatics and the RKE)

To Aquatronica,

The Investment that's always getting better..

Yes your quite right Robby. I was very disappointed with Digital Aquatics. They thrill you with there up and coming product only to disappoint you with having no due date for a release. Actually I'm just disappointed period because I need a controller very soon and I'm on the fence with Aquatronica and RKE. I was all set on Aquatronica until I started seeing all these locked up control units having to be sent back to Italy. That type of business makes me nervous. I was also hoping that their dimming module would work with a Ice cap 660 ballast. I guess you can't have everything.

Digital Aquatics started out with all the right intentions, it was the fact that they bowed into Forum pressure and started mentioning release dates that got them in trouble. IMO there current schedule is very good and faster than most companies could ever dream of.

Smile

I heard Adam was back from Interzoo. With all the news.

Our stocks (ZA) of the new products released will be arriving end July 2008.

New probes and interfaces will be released shortly. Date to be confirmed.

Aquatronica manufacture some of the Hydor components hence the Koralia tie-up.

Hydor are releasing new 12v pumps from NANO to Koralla 8 12500l/h to be used with the new aquatronica wave module.

Check out the hydor Wavemaker 4. It looks like Aquatronica made it.

Exciting Hay!!

Wow! I can't wait for all of this stuff to come out. And right before I hopefully get a new job that will increase my pay 5x! (I'm a college student, so its not much to begin with ).

So will the current 12v Koralias not work with the Aquatronica module if they're coming out with new ones or are they just extending their line to larger pumps?

This is really exciting if Aquatronica did manufacture their controller as it means more revenue into the company which means (as I think we're seeing now) even better and better products available for us.

Man... Aquatronica really needs to push in the US. I think they could definitely give everyone a huge run for their money.

Hmmm... Anyone know if Aquatronica comes to any of the tradeshows over here? They definitely need to come to MACNA and they need to bring me a Koralia module.

Sorry I'm rambling a bit, guys... I'm just extremely excited! Now I can't WAIT to get a bigger tank!

Brandon

I think I just misinterpreted something once on the ethernet module. My bad!

What dimmable ballasts are you going to use on your ATI? I'm probably going to wait on IceCap's dimmable T5 ballast that is due out soon.

Also, I just noticed there's a moon light port on the dimmer module. Is that just for any moonlights or will we see some new moon lights from Aquatronica soon?

Is this true? They both have a very similar design.

Well AEB Technoliges is the company that manufactures Aquatronica, some of the Aquamedic components like their verson of Aquatronica and some Hydor products.

That is why Aquatronica's new wave system will control the same Koralia 12v pumps.

Note: Hydor are bringing out high volume 12v pumps. No's 5,6,7&8.

Koralia 8 is reported to have a flow rate of 3250gph

The 660s are dimmable, but ONLY with VHOs. They are coming out with a new ballast soon to dim T5HOs.
