It certainly wouldn't hurt anything. I keep several pepermint shrimp in my sump/fuge, they reproduce regularly and feed the tank.

Same here, I keep a pair of pep shrimps in each of mine as well as a couple of turbos and herimts. Keeps them nice and clean and doesn't affect my pods what so ever.

Feed the sump, and you'll have no worries.

I have a pistol shrimp in mine and snails. I have had the shrimp for almost 2.5 years now and when I went bare bottom I wanted to keep it, so I have a display refugium also with a dsb.

I'm sure there's plenty that makes its way to the fuge to not need supplemental feeding, but if you're worried about it a couple pinches of fish food each week should suffice.

Agreed. Chances are, enough food will make it to the fuge anyway, but I will toss or squirt a bit of food in the fuge once in a while.

Same food I feed the display.
