Anytime. Home depot gave me a 35 day lead time on them but the salesman told me typically 2-3 weeks and I bought them last weekend.

I know its been a quite a while since ive posted on here but here are some things to catch up how things are going. I finally got the doors for the canopy but havent had a chance to stain them since on the can of stain it says not to below 60degrees. Also I found out the hard way that the recomended pump for use with the Aqua-C skimmers is way underpowered. So now ive upgraded it to a Mag 12 and that one seems to work great. But because it took me a while to get the skimmer going I had a increased problem with Nitrates. It in turn caused a Cyano outbreak. Now that ive had the skimmer going strong all week there is nothing more than a small patch of the red slime left in my refugium. Though all and all I think think the tank is really starting to take off its been up for just a couple of months and ive already got coralline growing on my powerheads and back wall of the tank.
For Christmas my wife and I went a picked out some new livestock. Though this first one I picked up just because I really wanted one. Had him a month or so now.

My Blue Jaw Trigger. He's still kinda shy but coming out of his shell slowly.

They next two are these guys. An Achellies Tang and a Black and White clown.

My wife picked out a nice Anemone for it but this brilliant tank raised guy doesnt know he's suppose to go to it. O-well.

Here is a full tank shot.

Just some random pictures ive taken lately.

Soon as it warms up just a hair even for a day ill get the doors stained.

It is a lot more organized compared to the last time I saw it.
Looks good... did most of the corals bounce back form the move?

Thanks Ginger yeah I love those fish they are 2 of my favorite for sure.

As for the Corals yeah most of them are showing growth again. Most still havent colored back up yet even had some STN but I think most of it has stopped. Things are getting undercontrol.

Thanks guys! Im quite pleased with how its all turning out. Just alot of tweeking and tuning. Still trying to get parameters stable, ect.

As for the LED's im not using them. Tim from Exotic had them made to the wrong size. He made the lamps for a 60" tank exactly 60" which is the outside diminsion of the tank so with a canopy they didnt fit. So I just stuck with the MH's. Though I have a IC 660 on the way for some VHO actintics. At that point im going to swap out the 20k XM's with some Phoenix 14k's I think.

Moses the crew was from left to right. Barb (Auntbeez), Pete (petes97), Sean (works at Exotic), and me. That was my all day into the evening crew that took down my 110 for my 156. They rocked!

I put the first coat of stain on the doors today. While Pete was over here tonight taking some pictures of coral with his macro lense that I will post tomarrow, we put the doors on just to cut down the glare and all I can say is wow. Im really happy with how the set up looks. When I finish the staining later this week and get them hung next weekend. I will certainly be putting some pictures up. I really can't wait to see the final look.

Yes I upgraded from a 110 acrylic to the 156 glass. It was by far the best decision I have made in this hobby and will never go back to an acrylic tank.

What?!?!?!?! You should have went much bigger, like double or triple the size of your old tank!

Im really glad you posted pics as Im getting ready to start my 300 build I have the stand frame built its 39 inches high.
I built it for a 300 gallon I had that was 24 inches wide but my new one is 30 inches wide...So I have to rip it apart and extend the cross braces.I wont skin it for awhile (until the whole set up is all done)
Now Im going to be building the canopy first thats why Im glad I saw yours now im going to build mine taller problly 24 inch to 30 inch so all together the total will be 94 inches but the section above the lights will be open top just for my electronic ballast and wires that dont come through my dry well

haha well I was going to get a 180 or a 210 but I picked my tank up an awesome price $1500 for tank and stand brand new never seen water. With a starphire front I couldnt pass it up. Im really happy with the size. Space where I wanted to put it was sorta limited. So I needed a 5' tank also where I wanted to put it so that I could plumb my chiller and top off in from outside it had to go on the wall where it is. I got really tired of hearing the jet engine take off in my living room when my chiller fired up. Plus the room its in now is the main common room in the house so im glad I put it there so it recieved plenty of admiring.

My stand and canopy are the same diminsions and the tank sits between them. I wanted the lights to hang so I could move them out of the way if I really need into the tank. But I also wanted the shelf for my ballasts and storage.
