Congrats!!!!!!!!! I'm along for the next 999.......as for the earlier comment about the shipping, yeah totally! Gas prices suck! Did anyone notice that LA, saltwater fish have both added, in addition to normal shipping, a temporary gas price....like $15.00 or something!

Haha... thanks everyone for pushing it over the edge last night

That second split sure happened fast, so I'll try and VERY BRIEFLY summarize what has gone on thus far in my build.

Waayyyyy back in the beginning of April I was browsing Craigslist and found a 90g tank with a 30g sump for sale. I ended up paying $150 for it (I believe... might have been less) and it was pretty banged up to say the least, but after some TLC and LOTS of help from RC members... 4-1/2 months later, this is what I've got. My first reef in the making

The livestock list currently in the tank:

1 Powder Blue Tang (Merlin)
1 Yellow Tang (Colonel Mustard)... don't ask
2 False Percula Clownfish (Dottie & Roo)
2 Yasha Hase White Ray Gobies
2 Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
1 Coral Banded Shrimp ("the big guy")
20 Nassasarius Snails
10 Cerith Snails
3 Large Turbo Snails (the largest one's name is Gary)... once again
2 Astraea Snails
5 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs

ORA Green Birdsnest
Pink Birdsnest
Green Acropora
Green Slimer (Acropora)
Orange Montipora Cap
Purple Acropora
Purple Tort Coral (Acropora)
Purple Chalice Coral (I think that is what it's called)
Pink Hammer Coral
Yellow Leather
Green Sinulari
Green Open Brain
Misc Palythoas
Neon Green Trumpets
A few Zoanthids

It's been quite a process and some of the more recent developments have included PAR Testing, bouts with bryopsis, black ich, regular ich, and zooanthid predatory spiders... yes SPIDERS!!!

*Above pic was added at the request of RC Member NanoGurl*

However, with all the help I have received, I have managed to make it through all of that relatively unscathed (minus one zoanthid frag). Thanks again everyone for all your support thus far... and onward we go!

You should have set it up like the bible Tswifty.
In the beginning, Man looked to the ocean and said "Why?"
Tswifty looked to Craig's List and said "Why Not?"
And on the 2nd day he created the rock islands, on which he would place many a coral
On the 5th day he was tested by many plagues including 2 forms of ich, spiders, and a piece of live rock that would spew forth cyano bacteria.
Now, his fish must become inspired with the same Manifest Destiny that lead man across oceans and continents, and try swimming on the left side of the tank
Amen.

And why are the Yasha gobies the only ones without a name. Like I said before, they are underrated!

Yeah, initially when I thought about trying to explain everything that has happened thus far it was way to overwhelming... It'd take me weeks... so I figured an index would be the next best thing.

That's great
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There's been discussion about names for the gobies, but I can't settle on anything I like, and I refuse to let Laura name any more fish...

They were a pretty early addition to the tank, and didn't spend any time in QT, because I didn't have a lid for my QT, and they are known for jumping. They pretty much take care of themselves... I don't need to do anything special for them, and they seem to be able to hold their own with the other tank mates. Except the one who burrowed on the idiot side of the tank is scared to death of the PBT, and shoots back in his burrow everytime he swims by

The other one who burrowed on the Left "cool" side of the tank, isn't scared of anything though... and he mixes it up and gets right in the middle of everyone during feeding time.

Here's the pics of the Yasha Hase White Ray Gobies... I must have ended up with two males, because they decided not to burrow near each other.

Here are some short clips I took of them early on... the second one is pretty funny, because one of the clownfish comes over to check out the new arrival.

Thank you for that info. I've wondered before how people knew and posted that they were starting a second page.
