The Foam/rock Projects Here Thread

With so many people doing the foam/rock projects, I thought we should have our own forum but I doubt that would happen, so I decided to start a thread with links to everybody's projects here. First, (in no particular order) is customcolor's 125gallon build. Then Tiggsy's 180 build in the UK. Here's Kannin's 220 gallon with external overflows and a Yoda sculpture. Next we have yours truely, yousmellsfishy's 5.5 all-in-one nano. Next up is GIJOE007's DIY rock, Joes version. From Florida, here's fishinpcola's project thread. RyanBruck's is coming along nicely. Next up is Speckled Grouper's build thread for his 265 gallon project.
I'm sure there are others. Please provide a link to your foam/rock projects here.
Looking for a project from...........OCEAN SIZE?????

My deepest apologies. I cannot edit the post because it has been more that 60 minutes since I posted. It figures that the only time in the whole post that I used a gender specific pronoun was with yours

Thanks for this thread, nice having it all together. Some great, great work here. Problem is, it makes everything else seem inadequate now...I have no choice but to try this.

btw...GIJO's link takes us to your tank.

One very important thing I would like to mention:

When doing this, you have to have the vision.

More than once I stood infront of my panels and thought "That looks like crap! Mine will never look as good as Kannin and Tiggsy's." But I kept going, became more comfortable working with the foam and I think I will be happy with the end result after all.

Here is the side wall I did in my 275.

I don't have an extensive build thread for it, but there are some pictures of it being done in the link with my little red house icon.

These projects look awesome...but, how are you getting these huge walls in the tank? My tank, and I am sure most of everyone elses, has the cross support braces on the top. How do you get around that? Are they not needed for support? I am upgrading from a 75 to a 125 soon, and I want to do something like this, but I don't want to ruin the tank. Any info on this would be great. Thanks

My wall consists of 4 pieces. They go in easily on an angle and under the support braces.

thanks yousmellsfishy. I've been pretty happy with it.

I actually built mine in-tank. I fastened the eggcrate first to the tank and then started the attachment. with all the rock I used it would have been difficult to get it in if I had built it outside.

That fish in the cave is a midas blenny. It was really lucky he picked a spot right up front like that.

Is there a fish in that same hole in the first pic a couple of post back?
