Phillybean's 75 Gallon SPS Reef
Now that my tank is mostly SPS, I figured I would start a tank log here.
Specs: 75 Gallon AGA 40 Gallon Sump/Fuge (175 Watt 10K XM Bulb over fuge) 2 x 250 Watt 14K Hamilton Bulbs off a PFO Magnetic Ballast 2 x 54 Watt "No Name" Blue Bulb T5's Stock ASM G3 Skimmer Mag 7 Return Dart Closed loop with 4 returns DIY Stand/Canopy Aquacontroller Jr. with DC 8 Params/Dosing Nitrate - 0 Phosphate - 0 (however I do have some HA, so I know it's there) Calcium - 420 dKH - 11 Magnesium - 1300 pH - 7.9 - 8.3 Temp - 79 - 82 Salinity - 1.025 Daily I dose 3.5 ml of Vodka, Four Drops of Zeovit Amino Acids, Four Drops of Zeovit Pohls Coral Vitalizer and 4ml of Coral Snow every second day. I dose Kalk in my Auto Top Off and add Two Part as needed. Water changes are done with RO water and Coralife Salt. Coral Stock My biggest up coming job is going to be taking pictures of each coral with the proper names. Most are frags, but are growing quite well. Currently I have: Acropora - 31 Montipora Cap - 4 Encrusting Montipora - 5 Branching Montopora - 1 Birdsnest - 3 Pocillopora - 1 Stylo - 2 Zoanthids/Paly - 12 Chalice - 1 I also have 5 types of LPS, two types of shrooms, a BTA and Plate Coral. Fish 1 - 5" Naso Tang 1 - Copperband Butterly 1 - Cleaner Wrasse 1 - Sleeper Goby 1 - Yellow Watchman Goby 2 - True Percula's 1 - Sandsifting Star 1 - Seahare (shared between several local reefers) Various Snails and Hermit Crabs Pictures coming up...

Very nice. It will be real nice once it grows in some more. Good job. Any photos of the sump? I am building a 40g for my 75 and would love to see what you did for ideas.

Looking good Phil! I'm excited to come visit and see the tank now that I live a few blocks away!
That's the most favorite piece in my tank. My colony is about 7" wide now. I <3 tabling acros |

Been awhile since the last update. I was admittedly neglecting the tank for a few months, but within the last three weeks have been giving it the attention it deserves. Here is how it looks...

I have a 75 as well. Your tank looks great. What do you feed your Copperband? I've tried to keep Copperbands but have always run into feeding issues with them. Also curious as to your vodka dosing. I dose 1ml daily as my tests show I have zero nitrates. Did you dose until your test levels reached zero or did you determine your rate some other way?
