Seio 1500 mounting mods (simple)

Here's a simple mounting mod to mount the Seio's "Tunze Style", from a hanging brackett, and having the ability to turn them side-to-side or up-and-down. All of the pieces came in my box and the only tool you'll need is a drill and bit.

This photo shows the pieces used:

Next, use a pencil or fine tipped marker to trace the hole:

Thanks for sharing, great mod. I did something like that but had to use parts from a maxi kit. But I only had enough parts for one. Now I can do the same for my other one and this is a better mod, thanks edsreef.

Curious as to why you need the angle bracket?

Is it just for the threads?

You get any more vibration noise from using the bracket? I'm using the suction cups right now.

While using the "edreef-mod", has anyone noticed the 1500s creating a vortex from above? My 1500s are positioned roughly 5 inches below the water surface. The mod restrict how far down they can be mounted. I am running a Maxi12 next to the Seio to prevent the vortex from forming.
