Outlawed Macro?
Several people have asked me about macro algae being illegal or something. One guy mentioned to that there may be a type of macro that is illegal to sale at fish stores or something? is their an illegal macro?

California has placed some prohibitions on importing and selling Caulerpa sp. in the state, there are a couple of threads about it in the past few months in this forum.
This is one of the best resources on it, from SeaGrant no less. C. taxifolia is not the only one affected by this, I think there are five or six others included. >Sarah
