NPS display tank setup advice
Wondering what others have done to setup NPS display tank? My current NPS, are a couple dendros, a cup coral and various sun corals that are in a 20 gallon all in one nano. I have most of them on egg crate with a couple sitting on a large piece of live rock. I had a large sun coral colony, but lost most of it, fragged what survived to save a few surviving pieces. Black sun coral still doing ok. I feel like this looks like frag tank, since feeding them is a daily chore, and tank is set up to do that.

I have to feed mysis shrimp heavy with turkey baster every day to keep them healthy. The Trial and error I went thru to get to this point would take several posts to describe the mistakes I’ve made. I do a 90% water change every couple of weeks when nitrates get greater than 30 or 40. I only use room light on tank, no algae problems that way. Looking for what others have done to overcome the challenges of NPS. image.jpg |
