Giant Cup problems
I have/had this huge giant blue cup mushroom (elephant ear). Anyway his foot got torn 6 weeks ago no thanks to carelessness on my part. That tear seems to have healed but the mushroom keeps deteriorating.
Not sure if there's a chemical warfare issue or what the heck is going on... Heres a before pic (with the ruler in the picture) and a couple current pictures. Anyone know how to save it? Thx. |

Can you take it out of the tank and give it an iodine dip? Worse case scenario, hospital tank?
If not, then I might dilute some lugol's in tank water, turn off flow, and squirt gently some lugol's around it to clean it up a little. And maybe add a drop or two of lugol's to your tank on a daily basis for a bit.
