Is this a mertens?

Saw this at the LFS. They said it came from a customers tank who bought it originally from World Wide Corals. The white tentacles are throwing me off. It’s bigger than a dinner plate.

In my experience they were much better shippers than the other carpets, the problem was finding ones that were small enough to ship and with enough color for anyone other than serious anemone geeks to buy.

And I will pile on to say yes, it is a merten's carpet.

Oh, and last time I checked, Amazing Reefs and Aquariums in So. Cal had a couple small ones. I don't know if he ships or not.

They get huge, and when they get bigger they usually lose most of their color and turn into a drab brown nem that takes up a lot of valuable real estate.

Yea, I’m not planning to buy it. It’s just the first one I’ve seen in person so I thought it was cool. This one actually has kind of a cool color to it. I’d say about 14-15 inch diameter right now.
