Help with Favia

So I am currently trying to nurse back a red eyed favia that was damaged by my Kessils. I've placed it on the bottom of the tank and it seems to have stabilized other than hair algae growing on the damaged spots. Any advice on removing the algae? I have tons of hermits but they rarely remove the algae and even when they do it comes back after a week. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you haven't already, you might want to look into Hydrogen Peroxide dips. GL.
