Does anyone know if they have an 8' acrylic tank that they might be breaking down and wanting to sell? I didn't get an answer on the club message board.

Picked up a nice elegance and psammacora. They had some decent shrooms and a few nice acros left. There was also a nice looking lavender tang.

I love GC Reef and will be sad to see them go.
However, I went there on Saturday, and Steve was not there. Since they were going out of business, I expected a fire sale. However, I was quoted prices that were higher than usual. For instance, 4 month ago, I bought a pretty orange plate coral for $30. On Saturday, I was told a price of $40 for a green one that was smaller in size. Not the price I would expect for a going out of business sale. Steve, is a great guy and I wish him luck. I ended up going to the LFS in Coram, and got some nice stuff.

Pricing
Larry, sorry I couldnt give the stuff away to you. As I told you in the store, I would rather take a scoly to my tank at home rather than sell it to you for $20 that you offered.
I believe Acan colonies at 3.99 a head is a fair price. Sorry if you dont agree Tony |

Tony,
Not trying to start a bad discussion. Just not happy that 4 months ago, I was offered a better price than yesterday. It's just that simple. I expected a fire sale, and ended up getting good prices at another LFS that was not going out of business. I wish GC Reef all the best. Steve is a great guy and very knowledgeable...
