Do you keep any of the aquaforest products refrigerated? First drops just touch water in my reef and have this doubt, as many of zeovit products I have like bacteria, coral foods they recomend to keep it in the fridge.

The dose I use is 3 drops daily. Sometimes I forget but I think in this case less is better than too much.

I will take some photos around Christmas

3 drops daily of which products? I'm guessing np pro but what else? Can't wait for your pictures they are always so nice. When you take pics I'm guessing it's under all 8 bulbs (6 blue, 1 purple, one whiter?) does the color in pictures of overall look of the tank look similar to life? I love the crispness of blue white it looks like you have.

And a bucket of probiotic salt too
From what I see you don't dose ProBioF and ProF. These are not necesary?

Thank you Debora. Your tank is really stunning. Using the balling components you do not have any need for other trace element dosing for colors correct. I really am impressed by the colors you achieve, and I know it's not just the products, you have a huge amount of reefing skill.
I see a lot of other reefers starting up on AF products and I believe it's from seeing tanks as beautiful as yours running them. It sure makes me want to try them.

Sorry one other thing... Is the amount you dose the same as "recommended" for all products? Or have you had to find the right dosing amounts for each product based on its effects in your system.

Pro F, Pro Bio F and -NP Pro - thats culture medium for probiotic bacteria

I have been using Pro Bio F and Pro F but now I am dosing only - NP Pro and Pro Bio S.

If You have Pro F and Pro Bio F - just use that

Recommended dose is 1drop per 100L (27 US gal.) - I have no huge corals so I thing that 3 drops for my 400L is ok for now.

Debora.

Debora, your corals look stunning.

I placed an order for a small selection of AF products but havent started to use them yet because I want to switch to LED's and dont want to change two important system components at the same time.

What I think a lot of reefkeepers would find useful is like a standard "guide" of some sort...I feel there are quite a lot of products and it gets out of hand with so many of them.

So, since this is the SPS forum, what do you recommend for example:

1. The 4 CORE products?
2. And then 4 secondary products?

It is obvious that the AF based tanks on this forum are very successful as the colours are stunning, but without some sort of guide I think the system will not take off fully as most of us will buy a few of the products and then perhaps lose interest.

Hope you dont mind my post, but I think the AquaForest system has great potential, but I've seen many "systems" come and go over the years...it really needs a guide of the core products, a few secondary products; once results can be found and repeated, the system will stand out and stay.
