ato help

Hello,
I had a little oops with my ATO. the magnet on the part with the pressure gauge ripped off when i was moving it. What kind of glue can I use to put it back on? nothing is damaged it came clean off. BTW, those magnets are strong.
Christine

Hi Christine,

PVC glue works well as both pieces are made from 3/8" PVC sheet. If you have any trouble with it, just email me and I can send out a replacement.

Whichever one you feel is easier to use; both should work well. I'm not sure what brand of epoxy you have so it's hard to comment on it, but PVC glue will make a solvent bond which is quite strong. If you have a clamp, use it to press the two pieces together tightly once glued, and let it sit for a few hours. You might also sand both surfaces prior to gluing.
