I guess only one guy had success with this. I have the same light mixed with a halide and four T5s. Looking to go all LED to avoid bulb changes...

That's such a cool tank. He went thru some really tough times. Nice to be able to bounce back and have an awesome looking tank.

i am currently running 3 x xr30g4 in a 4ft tank.. running a modified sps ab+ with 30% white at 95%.. having great growth and waiting for more coloration from the various sps..

We are looking to upgrade our 75g to a 120 and swap out lights. Tank is mostly softies with some LPS and a whole heap of Bubble Tip anemones
I want to just go with Gen4 Pros from the start (figure why not) ... Just not sure on 15 vs 30 and how many Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

Probably most answers would be two XR30s since it's a 4'x2'x2' tank.
You can get away with three XR15s evenly spaced since you are not keeping any SPS but XR30s are a better bet if you do decide to throw in some sticks. I've known fellow SPS reefers to go with three XR30s on their 4' tank. |

The growth and colors are comparable to the infamous 400w radium (which I ran for many years). It's been 3 1/2 months with these g4 pro's and I'm very pleased. Running AB+ 100%

So far I love mine! Just upgraded my g3s. So far it appears “brighter” and more vivid at the same settings as my g3s. Started filming clips for a video on it
