So, little paranoid. What about Cheato?
Would you QT it, if so how? I need a good clump with pods.

Depends where you get it from. If it comes from a tank that has ever seen ich then QT it for 72 days without question. Also kinda depends on how paranoid/serious you are about not dealing with ich. If I were you 72 days but that's just me

Guess it's the qt for the Cheato, getting it shipped so have no clue about the source tank.
I'm not going through Brook, ICh or anything else preventable again, major PIA.

I always qt anything that's wet. Better safe then sorry.

I would love to know what tomonts can/cannot encyst upon. I mean, we all know they can stick to rock... but what about chaeto? Free swimmers aka theronts can be "washed away" but you have to be pretty thorough about it.
