Alteration to the Avast ATO

Can I cut the clear pressure sensor tube that is placed in the water? I would like to trim it down to have a lower profile as I have a wooden canopy that closes over the tank?

Also the sensor tubing is a little rigid, can I put 90degree elbows in or will this wreak too much havoc with the sensor?

Thanks in advance!! Works great with the apex controller.

Yes, you can cut the acrylic sensor tube down to about an inch total length. 90 elbow john guest fittings are not a problem either

Awesome, I already did, just could not for the life of me see why it would be a big deal.

OK, Cool. I also noticed that this particular model seems to have a little larger margin for pump activation than 1/2". Any way to tighten that up a bit?
