10 micron filter bags be reused after Lanthanum Chloride

Just curious if the 10 micron filter bags can be reused after the Lanthanum Chloride drip to remove phospates. If so any special was to clean them.

Thank You,
Chuck

I used 2 different types of 5 micron socks and after washing them one type gets clogged in a matter of seconds and the other no longer catches the precipitate. I am thinking of investing in a vortex diatom filter.

We are working with water floss.
Water floss is good enough to cath the lanthanum precipitation.
100% tested.

If you need to remove the lanthanum, it will dissolve in acid (not sure how strong is necessary). But that should not be necessary if they are well rinsed and not clogged.

Thanks for the responses. first time use.... just a follow up, I dosed 7 ml of Seaclear in a liter R/O over a course of 3 hrs. in 300 gallons. Dripped into a 10 micron sock. I could see the tan precipitate in the slow clogging sock. Water never got cloudy and phosphate did drop some. sorry forgot #s. Tank seems fine but I feel some snails are having a problem..i will wait a while and see what happens,
I normaly use Phosguard, it works for me but I have a lot going on and use a bunch..may have to keep on using

Thanks,
Chuck

Watch for closed leather corals and such when using Phosguard. The released aluminum can irritate them, unfortunately.
