But like I said the probe is reading right because when I put it in the 7 or 10 that's what it reads eventually

It's connected to the ph hook up on the Apex Base next to ph/orb

So you have a classic, move it over to the other port. Go into classic dash change that port to ph recalibrate and check..

Curious does cool air like 40 degree intake to the skimmer might lower ph by a chance ?

The lower air temperature won't make a noticeable difference. The carbon dioxide content is the key. The temperature of the tank is regulated by the heater, so it's not going to vary appreciably.

Test with you other test kit, disregard apex, probe is not reading correctly, did you try the other port? Or pm2, that port on apex is most likely compromise, starting a ticket with Neptune is your best chance to figuring it out, had very similar problems in the past, that jerky graph shows like a bad sensor...

Don't mater it went to 7, seen them only have a narrow window, and still look like it's working but it's not, it's having hard time stabilizing and reading higher numbers, it's real jerky, the weird stuff on top of graph, and all the jerky readings, if you watch the sensor in real time in the classic dash you will see it wandering around. I can see it in your graph w my eyes..its probly been that way from day one and you wouldn't know, because it's always been funky, mine had a bad probe and it would not climb I bought a new probe and it still was funky , made a ticket with Neptune , technician was a badass with the computer , he did most of the work , my port needed refreshed and a new probe, you can do all your self if you like, after I watched what he did it's lot all that difficult.

Pull that one and clean it and prepare for them, have all your calibration solutions ready, I calibrate my buy clipping the bag in sump so it's the same temp as tank water.
