I agree with you Chrisv... it produces good dark skim but then it's the loudest of all my equipment. I didn't like the micro bubble issue either. So I got the bubble stopper. But man it's loud, with that said I don't hear it soo much during the day and I got used to it.

Update:

Added green tip Torch and Orange plate Coral. My Kessil is @ 8 inches from the water surface and turned down to 50% intensity at its peak. So I'll slowly ramp these corals to higher intensities If needed. At this point it's Euphylias, Duncan, Plate and Favia LPS tank so far. Acans next...

And oh my RBTA split the first week I added it. Both sit on the same rock but under shade. They don't get much light but I'm letting it be as they will move it they want to... here is a pic under blue lights!! I'll add more pics later.

Update: I added a Royal Gramma and Flasher Wrasse 2 weeks ago. I didn’t see the Gramma for 4 Days and slowly it started to get out, but not when the lights are ON. It used to come out when I fed frozen food and so I made a point to feed him everyday. All was great but I LOST my Gramma after 2 weeks and it coincides with the addition of my red shrimp. Not sure if there was anything to do with this, but the next day I didn’t see it only to find out it’s dead. Pulled it out from the tank as the shrimp kept going to its hide out. Not sure what happened. I freaked out thinking it’s Marine Velvet. No signs on any of the 3 fish. Seem to be fine the last 1 week.

That was fish. For the corals I added Red and Green Goniopora, frog spawn and Ultra acan frags in the last one week. Here are some pics.

I've had many tanks over the years from 10g up to a built in 90g but I've been tankless for about 4 years now. I now have the time and room for a medium cube style tank and am looking for an All-in-One setup. I have about 36" to work with (leaves me room on both sides etc) and don't really want to build a custom system right now. I'm being a little lazy and a little practical at the same time.

I'm thinking of going the JBJ 45g route and adding a Radion 30W G4 over it and I'm just trying to read as many JBJ 45g tank chronicles as I can find.

Thanks for your input. It's Greatly appreciated.

Allen
