GPH question
ok whats the gph for a 75 gal?
and with a sump and power heads is that split between the two meaning if the gph is 500 and the pump is 300gph then i would need at least two power heads that put out atleast 100 gph each. |

Are you keeping corals or is this a fish only tank? You will need to substantially increase your GPH movement for corals. I have a 72g tank running a 1200gph closed loop with 3 maxijet mods running a debatable amount. I just set up a 125g fish only for a friend and 700gph on the loop and 2 maxijet mods was suffucient movement for the things he is keeping. It depends on what's in your tank.

It also depends upon the type(s) of coral you'll be keeping. SPS needs much more than LPS or softies.
