Are you refering to fish or corals?

Tank looks good, the rockwork looks so nice when they're new. Do you have any seeded live rock to get those guys going?

Are you running it sumpless? that's how i'm currently setup, make sure you do weekly water changes to keep the water parameters in check.

Since your tank is only 2 months old, i would add your fish slowly and keep checking those parameters.

I would work on the equipment before adding anymore livestock. What do you have?

IMO the most important are skimmer and circulation pumps

Tank looks nice and new

I have a 75g mixed reef and have the following fish:
clown
yellow coris wrasse
pajama cardinal
scooter blenny
1 small chromis
orange spot goby with pistol shrimp
and I just added:
copperband butterfly, really cool looking!
2 beautiful coral/pink colored anthias

My tank has been setup for about 6 months, but everything came from a 40b that was setup for over 2 years so very stable. What equipment do you currently have?
Take your time adding fish!

From the pic it looks like you are sumpless with no skimmer. That right there is going to limit the fish load. The HOB filter will need to be changed ever week or so to not become a nutrient farm.
- I would recommend this, and it's just my 2 cents.
like Kalakuhan said. I would first invest in equipment. I would first figure out a sump. Get your self a overflow and 20-30gal tank. You can put in your own baffles. Get yourself a good Skimmer. That alone will improve your system 10X. Then of course you will need a return pump.
There are 3 areas of equipment that you should never cheat yourself on.
Skimmer, Lighting & flow.
To grow SPS, you will need more lighting. You can use T5, but will need at least 4 bulbs with decent reflectors.
Get rid of that HOB filter.. It normally does more damage then good.
I know it's hard at first because of the excitement of having the tank, but trust me.. You will want to first have a solid system "before" you start stalking fish & corals. This will save you "A LOT" of money & frustration of watching things die.
- If it was me..
I would chill with the 3 fish you have. Let your rock muture for a while. Get the equipment I listed above, and then you will be in good shape.

Enjoy what you have and let the tank mature a little more.
Work on your lights and your sump and you'll be ready for more fish in no time.

Would a 20g work? Or is it too small?

20g would work. you just need enough room for a skimmer, your reactors, and a return section. if you want a refugium, will need to go a bit bigger.

a problem you may have is getting a 20g under the tank.

20 gal would be bare minimum. If it were me I would use a 40 gal breeder tank and use that for a sump. You can get one at Petco for $40(they have their $1 a gallon sale til 9/22

Eheim 1260 or 1262 are quiet and very reliable IME/IMO and do not generate a lot of heat like the Mag I had.
