Frag Farmer's Market 2013!!!
Something we should try to attend!
As usual, admission is free for anyone/everyone to go, so bring a friend. I am again relying on word of mouth and the various forums to spread the word about the event so feel free to chat it up when you see people in stores, etc... If you know of a forum that it would be helpful to post in, let me know and I will try to get the info in it. Spread the word!!! I am going to expand the event into another room this year to make space for more hobbyists who want to sell, and to try to spread the crowds out a bit (remember the masses from last year?). I already have a few of the big names signed up and one or two new ones who look to be coming as well to sell their "crop." I will post updates as things develop between now and then. If you want to set-up this year and make a few $, let me know. The set-up is only $30 and for that I will give you a space, outlets, heated water (if you need it), and a few hundred people to shop your homegrown stuff. Let me know sooner rather than later because space fills up quickly! You can contact me via PM or via email. Thanks! Jon

Oh, this sounds cool.
Is this the HS that has a marine bio major and they set up coral tanks to grow and sell to the public as a fund raiser? Awi, if I go you can come with me. I'll have to check some things. |

Here is an update on the FFM this year for my NY brothers and sisters:
As of this morning I have 32 vendors signed up, all selling corals and aquacultured stock. It is about a 50/50 mix between the commercial and hobbyist, which is awesome for the buyer because you get the mix of selection and price! The bigger names include: Puppy Center (CT), Jason Fox, Greg Hiller, Exotic Fish and Coral (CT), Reef Creations (NYC), some Anthony guy... and many more. As in past years, the admission is free, I have a great raffle set-up (benefitting the school's coral project), and more corals than you will know what to do with! I will release the entire list of sellers as the date gets closer--- March 9th 11am till 5pm! |

Here is the long awaited FFM list! I am more or less full (I can make room for one or two more if I need to...). My appologies to everyone whose name I messed up somehow (or location is incorrect). I am putting together the raffle list this week sometime and will release that info as well. See you all there!
