did you mount the T5 reflectors on straight aluminum or is it c-channel. How is the c-channel working with the heat on your other LED fixture?

LEDs on straight aluminum --> T5 reflectors---> C-channel

C channel Aluminum 2"w x 1"h I think really good heat sink for my LED light fixtures, no need fan to cooling.

why the reflectors?do you think you are losing light out of the sides?

for experimental.
the white LED are 60 degree. but royal blue are 120 degree and no optic lens
I think it will better with reflector

Jae and Joseph very nice build, need some up-dated pictures with blue and pictures of Josephs tank.. Would like to do build for my 65-gal. How many lights-white and blue- lights, what ratio are you using??

A quick question, Jae: if you electronically dim the output of the LEDs you are using, does the color temperature change?

Received the royal blue leds today. Wow. Cant wait to put them over my tank.Crazy bright , I'm seeing stars. I will build two displays of royal blue only this week and wont have any use for my reef brite stick any more!!!!I used to think reef brite was the bomb.Now I can build the bomb. Thanks Jae.you are the best!!
