RBTA splitting?
So our RBTA has been hiding for a week or two now. At first we thought it could be nitrates but we did two or three water changes and it was still hiding. It sort of came out from under the rock a day or two ago but now it appears as if it has split or is in the process of splitting. I honestly have no clue what happens when the RBTA splits, this is only my second anemone and the first didn't last long. Everything else in the tank is healthy, Xenia is growing like crazy, fish are happy, GSP has been growing a decent amount as well and all the other corals have actually looked better than normal the past week. Any help would be appreciated.

If it’s splitting it will rip itself in half. If it’s been hiding... it could be because your lights are to bright and it hasn’t adjusted to them yet. I am no expert but from my experience with BTAs, the above issue with them hidding was because the light was to bright. But there could be another issue that could be happening.

Very common for new to tank BTA's to split, stress from acclimating to new params.
Just watch where they go, keep pumps covered.
