Thank you! Although after doing a bunch of mental gymnastics, I may just go with the Dennerle check valve to thebubble counter on the GEO.

That's what I'm using. So far so good.

What size are the threads on the metering valve are people using? 1/8 or 1/4"? I want to make sure a bubble counter screws right onto it.

In reading earlier in the thread, it looks like you'll need 1/8" mnpt to screw into the base of the bubble counter.

Thanks LQT and Solitude. Things just got a little more complicated when photobucket pulled all of the pics and I'm 1/4 way into my build.

This should work right?

Low flow. 1/8" NPT. I just need to get a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter to go into the burkert?

Yes, that valve will work. It's the same as mine but in brass. And yes, you'll need to reduce down to 1/8". I reduced at the elbow. Part number is SS-4-RSE-2

Anyone know the difference between the Burkert 6011 and the Burkert 0200? This stainless one on eBay looks pretty nice and ready to go with power cord. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-SS...%257Ciid%253A1

the one in the link actually isn't the 6011 it's an 0200. Think it will still work just as good?

How to build a CO2 regulator for your calcium reactor.

The description is 6011. At least that's there one I bought.

Alright guys, now I'm over thinking this. So you guys also bought the Burkert solenoid from this link.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/282317389381

Ended up getting the 0200a instead of the 6011a solenoid valve, and everything worked out okay? I'm hoping so, cuz mine should be coming in a week from this seller who has clearly mislabeled his item for sale.

Me too LQT. His labeling is misleading. I just bought one today since everyone said it was a good one to get. The pics show 0200, but the title says 6011.

Good news. In my infinite OCD, I just PM'd Alanle and he reassured me that the Burkert 0200a solenoid valve that we all got will work fine for our purposes. I feel much better now!

Did he say what the difference is? I've had no issues and yes, mine has 0200 label on it

He did not elaborate, but him saying it would work in his PM is good enough for me! Also, in digging further before I sent him a PM, I saw an old thread on the Plants forum (with broken picture links cuz Photobucket sux ) where it looked like he bought a lot of 25 of the 0200a solenoid valves to use for some of his builds so I don't feel so sketched out anymore.

Curious if you ever got this sorted out? I pretty much used your parts list from earlier in this thread as a template for my regulator build and will also be running a GEO reactor as well.

Hey guys, I have a Swagelok ss-ss4-a-vh metering valve. I'm trying to figure out how to make the CO2 tubing connection to it. Unfortunately, Photobucket is keeping everyone's photos hostage so I can't reference the build instruction photos on the first page. I read that you could attach a port connector to the metering valve, so I got the ss-401-pc, it's a 1/4" port connector. If I use that it looks like I'll have to stretch the CO2 line a good bit to get the tubing to go over it. However, when I look at the available photos on this thread, it looks like the CO2 tubing goes neatly into a "tube retaining nut". How is the CO2 tubing being held in?
