Update on my new the SC Rimless 150
I unwrapped the packaging on my tank stand and the canopy and let me tell you, Superb quality from Sc Aquariums. WOW... I still have to get the rimless 150 out box since we got hammered with Hurricane IRMA 48 hrs ago down here on the West Coast of FLORIDA. I just left the tank in the packaging. I'm trying to keep everything in my 120 mixed reef alive. I have about 5,000 bucks and coral and fish. Everything is connected to my generator the last few days but last night we all fell asleep and the tank was with no pumps running for 7hrs. I might lose everything, just don't know when my power will be back on. Anyhow here is a quick pix of the Stand.

Looks pretty decent Bracka! Finally was able to get my 150 on my stand! Going to be floating the canopy with two Hydra HD 26's on each side and 1 Hydra HD 52 in the middle of the tank for my lighting. I already ordered the 20'' Synergy Overflow box, so I can run the Bean Animal set up! The 2nd pix is where I am going to be building my saltwater mixing station inside, so my DOS can do Automated water changes. In about a month or so, I have to somehow break down my current 120 that's filled with SPS, LPS, Soft corals and make the transfer... That's the FUN part! I will continue to keep everyone up to date.
Revised Equipment List EcoTech M1 Vectra Return pump. Skimz 163 DC Protein Skimmer Custom Sump 36''x15''x15'' Apex Controller w/ ALD, FMM and 2 PM2 mods. 20'' Synergy Overflow system Avast Kalk reactor BRS Dual Reactor for Carbon & GFO Eshopps Doser w/ Slave Santa Monica Algae Scrubber - Hog 1.3x Aqua UV Sterilizer (25w) 2 TUNZE Turbelle Nanostream 6055 Controllable 2 TUNZE Turbelle Nanostream 6015 6 30lb bags of Tropic Eden Tonga Pink Mesoflakes Plumbing - TBD Last edited by FLSharkvictim; 11/06/2017 at 11:55 AM. |
