What’s growing on my frogspawn stem?
Not sure if these are tube worms or not, but they are hard and brittle to touch.

Defiantly vermited snails will spread to plague status. Can try to dip and super glue shut

I have had success by making sure my water is clean, low nutrients and physically prying them off in a bucket of tank water when I do WC.

Being that the coral isn't attached to anything you might want to put it in a small bucket of salt water and see if you can pop some of those shells off with a small knife or razor blade.

I use a pair of tweezers and just smash the crap out of em. kind of satisfying...
they're super annoying as they'll actually block coral growth it seems. |

They will grow right up through any coral in their way.
Nasty little pests that can overtake a tank quickly. VERY difficult to get rid of. Most people try to starve them out. Theres some guys having luck with eradication on a different reefing forum. |
