Poly Butyl tape

The sealant used to attach a couple of the dividers to the glass in my 90 gal. sump have come unattached.
Does anyone know if Poly Butyl tape is safe to use in my Salt water sump?
What other solutions does anyone have to fix without draining the entire sump?

Even if it is safe (I'm not 100% sure if it is)
Its best to take the sump out of service, drain and repair..
Your tank will survive just fine without a sump for a week..

Couldn't agree more. You're limiting yourself to a poor selection of options if the sump stays wet. Any safe options that could be applied in water - like coral epoxy putty - won't bond securely enough to be worth the trouble.
