Dang, Taylor, that pic is sooo subtly phenomenal, I swear. I don't think I have ever seen 250W Radium color on HQI/Galaxy so accurately reproduced. Thanks, very cool, your expertise really shows and is not taken for granted by this reefer...

Hey Chris, I know you have already answered this in your thread, but what ballasts are you using...? New Ice Cap...?

143Gadgets- I am always blown away by your corals and pics. What do you have on your bottom, it looks like a thin sheet of plastic.

Those are Azoo fans, I used them on my 120 and now on my 58 as well. Two 4 fan units are cheaper than those silly profilux 3 fan units.

are the 250 watts the same spectrum of color that the 400 watts will give you.

I got it from a local reefer. I just posted a wtb thread and someone had some extra lying around. My water level is low because I still need to make some type of overflows. Right now I just have some drain holes.

Thanks Todd, I just set the white balance and shoot away. After that I can just play w/ the levels really easy because I shoot in raw format. Just glad I can accurately represent the colors for people wondering what it looks like.

The growth for me has been about the same as my phoenix 14ks driven by icecap ballasts. This tank is still very young so I am sure that is another reason the growth isn't as fast.

On HQI/Galaxy, yes... They are MUCH bluer on most eballasts. In fact I think they can be a monochrome blue disaster on a lot of eballasts..!

Mine are 250 watt on SLS blue wave HQI's. I don't dose anything but fish and fish food
