ATB Skimmer

Has anyone used one as I'm not impressed the pump on my Deltec SC1456 has stopped so looking to buy another skimmer I'll also carry this skimmer onto the new tank in the new year the one's I'm looking at is the

ATB Nano B Deluxe Internal Skimmer with Pot cleaning system

Or this one

ATB Elegance 200 Pro Skimmer with DC Pump

If you Google the titles will give you full spec as I can't post links to it

What's your opinions if you have used ATB

I won't use Deltec again and won't use bubble magus so opinions on other skimmers will be appreciated as well as need to get one ASAP as I don't think my system will enjoy running without one

Tell us a little about your system? I've been using the Elegance 200 for the past 6 years and love it

It's currently a 6x2x2 with a 4ft sump

I have received an email back and the ATB takes 6 to 8 weeks to recieve so that's out the window so back to the drawing board

Check out these two lines...They are venturi skimmers,
Life reef and MTC Skimmers, kinda of old school, but they work !

Good find. Surprising that your first Deltec isn't a good performer. I've never owned one but from what I've read, I rarely hear negative reviews. Hopefully the new skimmer will work better for you.

Yes I would call that going above and beyond for a customer I can't think of many that would of done that.

Her son didn't know how to use the card machine luckily I did so done it all for him he just opened the door and grabbed the skimmer but it got me out of a right muddle

Deltec was THEE skimmer to have for a long time, I'm glad they are back in production and I've been waiting to hear feedback on the new line from them.

I can't speak to those specific models, but I am very happy with my 840 v2.

Funny the only skimmer that you get right was Deltec I find them to be quite elusive, and yes I do own some Deltec, Are they available from Battle Corals.
