Question Flame anemone issue urgent!!!!!!!

My flame anemone is driving me crazy!!!
One minute it is looking the healthiest on the planet could win beauty prize
and the next minute it is shrivilled up looking dead...
This keeps repeating itself?

Whats up??? Any ideas?

Parameters are all good..nothing wrong with water
Lighting is good...
Current is good...

Is he just taking a dump? lolol What is causing him to fade to nothing
and then next few hours he is 10 times the size looking great?

thx, Tim

All of my BTAs and GBTAs do this all day long...they expel their water and then refill.

How long have you had it? It could still be settling it, if it's staying put and not moving around it's a good sign. They are a rather odd nem at times. Like trying to figure out why some tentacles are nice and bubbled up and some are just stringy.

settled

Ive had it about a month and it has settled nicely into a spot that it found...
Has not moved from that spot since it found it...

Weird how they fade to nothing and then bounce right back....

I hope its ok

Thx
Tim

BTA are just wierd like that at times, as long as it isn't moving about the tank and has good color I wouldn't worry to much. It could still be settling some, a month is still a fairly short period of time for a nem. Usually you can see them do this at night then they expand during the day.
