How long can fish survive with out flow?

I'm going to rip out my plumbing this weekend and re do it. I have a 120 gallon with just three medium size fish at the moment. I have some powerheads if I put those in and leave them on can it go overnight while I get the work done?

that should be fine, your bacteria is what needs the circulation more than the fish.
most of the fish i have bought, came UPS next-day in a cooler (bagged) without flow.

Current Tank Info: SPS dominated barebottom display with BB sump since 2005, most consistant parameters in 19+ years of reefkeeping.

make sure you have some surface agitation and put your heater in there. I'd run the powersheads.

I just had to take my return pump from my sump off line for 24 hrs. I moved the heater up, left my powerheads on and added another pointed at the surface for oxygen exchange. Everything is fine.
