When you say a little higher do you mean bigger? where are you going to be drilling.it at? I'm assuming your going to silicone a overflow in there and drill holes in the bottom behind the overflow? You could two 1" drains or a 1" and 3 /4" and have a 3/4" return.

Oh i got you sorry i was confused yeah that is probably what im going to do as long as it isnt tampered glass.

Yes make sure it's not tempered glass first. If it is, you can always run a hob overflow.
