So interesting day today. I got a call from the owner of the company for my eBay buy it now purchase that was cancelled after leaving negative feedback. He said he would sell to me for the original price I purchased at if I revised my feedback which I happily said yes to! New pump is on its way to me. If anyone needs a good working 6-600 rpm peristaltic pump let me know. Just had my father in law paint the cover John Deere yellow. Lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Anybody here running a korallin C1502 have the master flex connected to the effluent line coming out of the lid of the reactor? I have my Masterflex setup to pull effluent through the normal effluent line coming off the pump. I noticed after powering down the eheim and Masterflex, when I go to turn everything back on the Masterflex will drain the reactor past the intake of the eheim inside the reactor so the eheim pump can’t prime. I’m thinking about connecting the Masterflex to the lid effluent line and just closing off the line coming off the eheim Pump.

Yeah, that's the way it shhould be run. I had a graphic on the first page but it seems that is broken. I'll try to do some maintenance on this thread regarding broken pics and links a little later on this week.

From the 3rd post on page 1, thesse are the fittings and the tubing for the head and the fittings will allow you to use 1/4” RODI type tubing to connect to your reactor and sump. **** For 1/4" OD John Guest to LS/17 **** (QTY2) http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=36204 (QTY 2) http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=42009 (QTY 2) http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=34082 http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=25534

Official: Masterflex Calcium Reactor Setup Thread
I notice almost all setups have the darker l17 house coming out of their easy load heads. So my question is will this l/s 17 work? Or do I need a different loading house for the head.

How much tubing? If that’s the question I use about 6 inches of the Ls17 tubing alternative in the thread. The rest of the tubing going to the sump is 1/4” ro. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok thanks. I will switch it out. Is 3’ a short enough run to use the 1/4” John guest tubing? Or would u recommend the 3/8”. Going to be running a Geo 612. Calrx with the Ap Carbon doser. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That’s the stuff I just bought and I was told it wouldn’t last long. If u look at the reviews they say the same. Go to the first page of the thread and their is a link to the pharmed l/s17 tubing. It’s by the foot and 10’ will cost around 45$. If u look at the pics it looks like everybody runs from 6-10” out of their heads. Tke racer reccomended 10’ but if u wanna save money 5’ is def. going to give u enough. It’s just the extra footage is good to have so u can replace tubing as it wares down overtime. -Arie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You can either do short 3” section, but every time you change to new tube, you need to change all the fittings too. Or can do 6” or longer and just shift the worn section over to a new section of the longer tubing, so you don’t have to change all the fittings as frequent.
