Reef Octo Elite 200int or 220int for 750xxl aquarium?

Cant seem to get my current skimmer dialed in (vertex omega 200i) so I'm looking to make a change. I have a red sea reefer 750xxl (160g display, 200g total) sps and I usually stock heavy in the fish dept. There a big swing among recommend tank sizes for these skimmers on websites. Would the 200 or 220 be better for my setup?

Thanks

The Vertex 200 Omega is a brute of a skimmer, and most people that I have heard that use it is oversized for their tank, the 280 Omega is a better skimmer for a 750 XXL, the skimmer is more balanced.

Thanks for the feedback...I may go that route. Gonna talk to vertex and see what can be done.

The regals or elites will give you a DC skimmer. not needed but will allow you to fine tune your skimmer in as well. They also both have a float switch to prevent them from overflowing. Honestly due to both of these features I find it hard to compare these to Vertex skimmers.
