Carpet, mushroom, anemone? Huh

Got this little hitchhiker dude and not sure if he's a friend or foe, he's rather interesting and seems to be growing.

Can anyone identify?

Does it have a skeleton in the same shape. If not could be a mushroom

Almost definitely a Fungia! I had 2 similar hitchhikers come in on frags. One made it and one did not. Congrats!
