Kessil A150W Problem, please help.

Just purchased my kessil a150w and though i absolutely love it i have been plugging it in manually to the outlet and unplugging it as when i had it hooked up to the automatic timer outlet it "flashes" every 10 minutes or so, the light will come on real quick make a sound then shut off.

i thought it was possibly the outlet, possibly the autotimer, so i installed new and the same thing happens. does anyone have this problem and can help me with a solution? thanks!

I'd call Kessil and have it replaced. They are very responsive and have great service.

They have great C/S, they are ahead of the curve ball on this. They do not want a bad rep.

All they will do is ask for the serial number of the unit and then send you a packing slip. Their customer service is second to none. I had two early model lights that gave me trouble. They took care of both and were great in the process. Because of it, I bought a third light, knowing that they would back them up 100%. BTW, the replacements have worked flawlessly. Just send them an e-mail and sit back and watch how customer service is supposed to be.

+1 on their customer service. I also had an early model that would flash every 5 seconds or so. I sent them the serial number, they sent me a new light with a return sicker to send the old one back. The light I recieved from them was a brand new unit (it had a manufacture date of about a week before). I am not sure if their policies are still the same but I have continued to purchase from them because of them backing up their products.

If the light works fine being plugged/unplugged manually, then it seems unlikely to me that it's the light, but rather something with the timed outlet... I'd change that before assuming the light is defective.
