Only the left 4 digits of the port # are displayed. Just keep pressing the down button and you'll get to the smaller numbers.

There is a point where it counts in the 8000' s for a few seconds that is not in line with the rest of the numbers. Is there a way to reset this to out of box state?

I described the bug incorrectly. The current version of firmware does not erase the right most digit when the port number changes from say a 4 digit number to a 3 digit number. So if you were at port 1000 and decremented by 1 it would read 9990. Decrement again and it would read 9980. If it is confusing you, just press the select button, and then modify it again as it will display the current value correctly.

Ok so 1000 = 1000, 9990 = 999, 9980 = 998. I try that thanks...
