How many watts can a dc8 take per plug? Acjr

How many watts can a single plug take on the dc8. And what is the total load?

According to their website, it is 6 amps at 120 volts (720 watts) per outlet.

If you're running 2100w at the same time on one dc8 with no trouble, you have troubles

but keep mind it's only rated for 15 amps combined.

i am running
3 - 250 MH = 750 watts
2 - 110 Vho = 220 watts
little giant pump = 145 watts (closed loop 24/7)
quiet one pump = 145 watts ( return pump 24/7)
and 800 watt heater = 800 watts

total of 2060 at peak for the past 7 months never had any trouble. should i get anther dc8? or use another oulet for pumps??

you might want to look into getting the socket expansion module for your heater, it's a much cheaper option than buying another DC8/DC4. Are all three MH's connected to a single DC8 outlet?

1800w is the maximum of a 15amp circuit. That's the maximum, not the normal safe constant running rate. I believe it's 1500w, but one of the uber electrical geniuses here can comment further.

As well, I'm surprised the fuse hasn't popped on the DC8. My hunch is that all of that isn't running at the same time, or something is pulling significantly less watts than it should (heater for example).
