Reef chemistry
Hello,
Bit of advice please. I'm using RedSea Blue Bucket. I've been testing over the last few days and my numbers are coming in really close to each other each time, I. E. One day the mag was 1260ppm and today it's 1275 so I am assuming its a bit of vibration in the salifert test kit. It seems my numbers are at; Alk 7 Cal 440 Mag 1275 Phosphates 0.034 Hanna phosphorus Nitrates 2.5 Are these numbers ok? I didn't want to get into the relms of dosing yet as my coral stock is low. I will keep test my Alk regularly. Does everything look OK? Do I need to raise anything, opinions?? Thanks

Those numbers should be fine. I wouldn't worry at all. The alkalinity level might start to drop rapidly when coral or coralline growth takes off. Many tanks require daily supplementation. That's in the future, though.
