I have a lighting question!!!.

I have a 48inch metal halide light with 4 t5 and two metal halides on a 55 gal. Now my question is will I be okay without using the 4 t5 they stop working and the metal halides are brand new?

Youll be just fine useing only the mh part. The t5's are mostly there for dusk dawn effect and to give the mh's more color but you can get mh bulbs in lots of great colors where you dont need suppliments.
