Gig/Haddoni/Hybrid carpet ID
Purchased this carpet at petco (I know I know) at a random stop and was listed as a gigantea back in April. Went through cipro for 7 days. It has been high in the rocks for 6 monthe and hasn't moved at all. Feet is not the usual blue but has pronounced verrucae. Was about 3" when purchased and now about 10". An ideas??

Definitely gigantea but I’m surprised the tentacles are still so short. Are they always as short as they are in your pics? They almost look like they have gotten even shorter than when you bought it. Can you take some pics under white light? How much flow are you giving it?

I agree with pfan151. Looks like a gig in low flow. Also, check your parameters. I have a tank with 8 gigs and they look a lot nicer after water changes.

Close to 2 years for this petco Gigantea. Only directly fed 2 times in the 2 years. 16"+20200313_184851.jpg

Thanks for the update! It's amazing how fast they can grow with some TLC. Yours looks so shaggy and beautiful. You did a tremendous job with it!

Not sure I want it to grow up too fast.
