Lighting for shrooms
37 gallon cube mix reef tank lighting by Kessil A360 WE.
20" tall. I have my shroom gardens in the bottom. What's the best lighting pct% to keep shrooms happy ( not blasted by high light ) but still keeping some light loving SPS/LPS and Z's and P's happy still. Right now I had to ramp down the lighting, mostly in blue hue right now and ramped down as the shrooms start detaching from their frags as lighting too bright for them

Mushrooms detach for lots of reasons, light being one of them... Are your shrooms stretching towards the light wih a really long "stalk"? If so then your lighting might be low... If not, thy might not stretch just because of he type or because flow is too high for them to stretch.
I have a 10g mushroom tank that is lit by one kessil... I forgot which one, but it's the smaller one with only one color (blue). It's pretty dim, and my shrooms still are doing fine.

some of the shrooms started reaching when I lowered to lowest level, but when I had it originally at max level, I would have shrooms within weeks of introduction would detach.

I run a Kessil 350w over my frag tank at 100% blue and 20-25% white, corals range from mushrooms to SPS and they all grow well with great color. The whites are the ones that burn your mushrooms so the less the better.

thanks,
Yes have blues to 100%, I believe whites only at click or 2 to have them on. But since they were reaching, i've upped the whites just a tad bit for more PAR but the look of the tank is still blue.
