That’s a good deal at 1900 sale price . I purchased a aqueon reef ready for 675 without a stand. stand and canopy runs 700 to 1000 for nice cabinetry and no sump . The reef ready aqueon has those two large overflows and predrilled at bottom of tanks. Wish I could have been more selective but price really mattered . So I built my own stand and canopy . Maybe saved another 200 . I’d say get it now before they bump price up to 2500. That is if it really is on sale right now as the website states .

You can get a Planet Aquarium in any size you want. I paid $1,200 for a 180 gallon tank drilled with a Synergy overflow. That's $200.00 alone for the overflow.

This is my tank: http://www.fishtanksdirect.com/marin...k-nv97005.aspx I paid $238 for it brand new via my LFS. To be fair my LFS basically sells the tank at cost plus a discount, but even at other LFS I have seen the same tank for about $370-$400. Just trying to point out how much you are being gouged by ordering from fishtanksdirect. |

Ok Im between the SC PNP and the Waterbox. Both include almost everything but lights (waterbox requires return). Looking to make a decision in the next week or two.

So I may be in the minority but FTD was competitive in pricing on my Acrylic tank (15yrs ago). The manuf I wanted didnt sell direct and FTD was the best price from a reseller.
I love my 48x24x24 120g. ******** async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"> Recent tank video ******** async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8">

Finally pulled the trigger. My LFS got me an awesome deal on a waterbox 100.3. While it wont be 4 feet, I did a lot of thinking and think a 4 x 2 x 2 will be more than I can manage. I will start another thread when it goes up. Thanks for everyone for their suggestions! I will pick it up tomorrow, plan on flipping my current tank into that one this weekend. Need to think about cool minamilist rockwork design...
