what could be wrong with my hammer?

all my parameters test okay. don't have the numbers on me but they were okay when i tested calcium, salinity, and alk the other day. it was good, until the other day it starts looking like this.....

the only changes i have made in the past week are turning the heater off to drop the temp from 82 to about 78. and changing to salinity salt. and raising the LED lights a little higher above my tank to have a little less lighting.

it was doing well, then shriveled. it was midway in the tank, but i just moved it down to the sand to see if it will do better.
