Exclamation Small reef setup help!!! Beginner!!

So I'm so new to this. I have a 30 gallon tall tank. I want to set up a small reef tank with 2 clownfish. I basically need all the advice and tips I can get. Books to purchase that explain good. I need to know it all. lighting, sand, rocks, filters, skimmer, everything. thank you

Do some research, no sense in me writing a short story about things you can find online from reliable sources.

Read Read Read is my first tip.

All the parts all come down to what you want and think is appropriate.

For keeping Reef you will need :GREAT Lighting, And great water movement. Everything else is preference and is a guess and check game in my opinion.

Check out the stickies at the top of the page. They'll get you started. Then use the forums to ask specific questions. Fenners book on salt water aquariums is also a good read.
