COR return pump
Any new news on the release date? Will it be next year sometime?

The way it is going, it will be at least three years from announcement to release.

I am extremely disappointed at how long this is taking. Doesn’t make any sense. Taking this long can only mean that they are having quality or reliability problems. My company makes sophisticated high end camera systems for the military and it doesn’t take this long.

They have been beta testing for a while now. They are thorough about testing a product before releasing it to public, I think this is a good thing. Terrance recently posted a picture on Neptune Forum of a Pallet of COR pumps and stated we get getting very close.

I would just like a ball park range of when they are predicting the release will be. Very surprised that no one from Neptune Systems has chimed in.

Yeah - pre-order information started to get emailed out today. I received a couple. Price isn't too bad all things considered. May have to pre-order and once it arrives keep the existing return has a spare.
I like that idea.

Had to chuckle ..... One vendor said 'the wait is over' and than announced a pre-order. Classic oxymoron. If it's a pre-order, then the wait is not actually over . Can't make this stuff up. Regardless, intrigued by this pump.

So the 20 does not require the Apex whereas the 15 does. And did I read it correctly that the 15 is 1500 gph and the 20 is 2000? Not a huge spread vs. the cost. I think I'll be "pre-ordering" a 15.

All of the big boys have them for pre order on there websites, like BRS, Marine Depot, Aquarium Specialties, etc etc. I have a Ecotech M1 currently and I can't wait to DUMP it since I have been through 3 of them in 1 year.

My Vectra M1 has actually hung in there for me. I'll not be rushing in the buy a COR until there's some sense that it's more reliable ..... versus just making the same mistake again.

20 is stand alone or used with Apex for more control. 15 Needs an Apex but will work with them all. i.e.. Apex 2016, Classic, Jr. What makes the 20 pump more is the fact it uses a power brick plugged into the Driver/Pump Control where as the 15 gets it's power from the Apex. Look on Neptune's site and look at the bottom of the two drivers/controls, the 20 has a place to plug in the external power supply, the 15 doesn't.

Anybody pre-order and receive them yet, tracking information, or ETA? I've pre-ordered and it looks like a very low initial yield with more due in March...

@bobt2 - that is cool. Let us know how it works out if you don't mind. The shop I bought from said they only got 2 of each model in...true story. They said Neptune told them don't expect anymore until March.
